The Government Experience Exchange Office (GEEO) at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, established in 2023, is the knowledge propeller of the government of the United Arab Emirates, aiming to boost the UAE’s status as a global hub for government management and development. The Office is working on developing a comprehensive programme for knowledge exchange with friendly and brotherly governments to ensure the dissemination of best practices, primarily; strategic planning, performance, government excellence and leadership in government services. The Government Experience Exchange Office is additionally responsible for launching agreements and bilateral cooperation with target countries, while implementing structural programmes for government development.
The Office further establishes partnerships with government and private entities in the country to help develop, promote and implement experience exchange programmes, thereby ensuring the best outcomes. It additionally monitors the implementation of experience exchange programmes in target countries, together with their impact on governments and societies, and publishes periodic reports highlighting objectives achieved by such efforts.
