Initiatives:

UAE Centennial 2071

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the national program for achieving the UAE Centennial 2071, based on a historic speech delivered by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to future generations. Accordingly, the mission of achieving the UAE Centennial 2071 was launched to serve as a clear map of long-term government action.
Through its vision and goals, the UAE Centennial 2071 seeks to invest in the country's youth, equip them with the skills and knowledge of the future, and develop a comprehensive long-term strategy to make the UAE the best country in the world by 2071, the nation’s 100th anniversary. The UAE Centennial 2071 is based on four main pillars as follows:
• Future-focused government
• Excellent education
• A diversified knowledge economy
• A happy and cohesive society

Future Possibilities

The "Future Possibilities Report 2020", jointly launched by the United Arab Emirates and the Initiative for the Commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the United Nations, examines several expected global transformations which are creating positive opportunities that governments and countries can benefit from during the next 25 years. The report shall help governments to develop new development models, long-term visions and action plans that enhance their future readiness; improve data-driven decision-making; and develop new mechanisms for adopting proactive public policies and transforming challenges into qualitative opportunities.
