UAE Enhances Government Capacities in Egypt, Jordan and Uzbekistan

The UAE Government hosted a series of virtual training workshops and programs for government employees in the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Uzbekistan to enhance their skills in designing remote government services, drawing on the UAE's successful experience in addressing the COVID-19 pandemic.

The training workshops are part of the strategic partnership agreements between the UAE government and the three countries, aiming to modernize government work through qualifying government employees, promoting the exchange of expertise and establishing new business models to ensure business continuity amidst the Coronavirus crisis.

As part of the strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Egypt in government modernization, a virtual workshop was organized and attended by representatives of the UAE Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) and a number of government entities in Egypt. The workshop highlighted the remarkable success of the UAE’s remote work experience amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It also outlined the key proactive measures and initiatives adopted to ensure business continuity and delivering streamlined and efficient government services.

Under the strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in government modernization, a virtual session titled “Innovation in Government” hosted a group of leading speakers from the UAE to review the most successful innovation models and experiences in the government. This aims to support the ongoing efforts of modernizing government work models and creating new tools and smart applications in line with best practices in the field of government services.

Joint teams from the UAE and Uzbekistan governments organized an interactive virtual workshop under the theme “Designing Smart Services”. The workshop discussed the key standards of designing government services and examined the UAE's experience in designing smart services, to accelerate achievements in the Uzbek Government and ensure delivering efficient and optimal services for its customers.
